Petchem exports up 32% in 8 months on year

TEHRAN- Iran’s value of petrochemical exports during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-November 21) rose 32 percent compared to the same period of time in the past year, Tasnim news agency reported citing the data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

IRICA data shows that the country has exported 21,000 tons of petrochemical products worth $10 billion during the eight-month period.

As previously reported, the value of Iran’s non-oil exports during the first eight months of the current year increased 13 percent compared to that of the same period of time in the previous year.

The country exported 75.27 million tons of non-oil products worth $31.491 billion during the eight-month period.

Iraq, China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Afghanistan and India were the major export destinations of Iranian non-oil products in the mentioned time span.
